Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice

  • orange zest of whole orange

  • pinch of salt

  • 12-oz bag of fresh cranberries

Directions

  • Zest the orange into a container – try and get as much zest as possible
  • Once completely zested, split in half and juice your orange. If you don’t have 1/2 cup, replace that amount with water. If you have more than 1/2 cup, use what you have and add enough water so both liquids equal 1 full cup.
  • In a saucepan, combine sugar, honey, water and orange juice in a saucepan on medium heat. Bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling, add orange zest and cranberries. Let cook for 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes to prevent sticking and break down your cranberries.
  • After 10 minutes, remove from heat. Place in a container and refrigerate. Refrigerate at least 1 hour, or until completely cool.

Notes

  • Such an easy recipe! Super awesome for Christmas, Thanksgiving, or other family meals.
